The U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance announced that Chris Chinn of Missouri, Will Gilmer of Alabama, Katie Pratt of Illinois, and Bo Stone of North Carolina have been selected as winners of its Faces of Farming and Ranching program.

Brenda Kirsch of St. Paul, Ore., and Tim Nilsen of Wilton, Calif., were among nine finalists of the nationwide search launched in the summer of 2012 to help put real faces on the American agriculture industry.

"(Kirsch) may not have been selected ... but she will always be an admired and exceptional face of family agriculture for Oregonians, and she has a great future ahead of her in Farm Bureau," wrote Farm Bureau spokeswoman Anne Marie Moss in the organization's newsletter.

"We're proud of her, that's for sure," Moss said.
