Grain futures mixed, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose to 1.50 cent to $7.8275 a bushel; March corn rose 3.50 cents to $7.28 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.55 a bushel; while March soybeans fell 5.25 cents to $14.25 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.62 cent to $1.2595 a pound; March feeder cattle fell 0.30 cent to $1.4555 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.45 cent to 85.50 cents a pound.
