AAA: Washington gas price $4.08; $4.02 in Oregon

BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) -- The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gas in Washington is $4.08 and in Oregon it is $4.02.

The Washington price is down 2 cents in a week and 4 cents in a month. It's 26 cents higher than the national average.

The Oregon price is down 3 cents in a week and 8 cents in a month. It's 20 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from the AAA's survey for Monday:

Bellingham $4.20, Bremerton $4.04, Portland $4, Salem $3.99, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $4.10, Tacoma $4.05, Olympia $4.08, Vancouver $4.06, Yakima $4.04, Tri-Cities $4.07, Spokane $3.94, Eugene-Springfield $4.01, and Medford-Ashland $4.06.
