TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- Hundreds of job applicants lined up for a shot at landing production and support staff positions at a Greek yogurt making facility in south-central Idaho.

The Times-News reports (http://bit.ly/IOW2C1) that a single-file line at the Chobani Inc. job fair on Friday stretched through the College of Southern Idaho's Harrett Center for the Arts and Science out the door and down the sidewalk to the parking lot. The precise number of applicants is unclear.

Chobani says the plant will start production this summer but ramp up to full production in phases. Officials say eventually they need to fill about 400 jobs to run at full capacity. Chobani says most of the jobs start at $14 per hour.

Chobani is currently the nation's top selling Greek yogurt.
