The new EDGE In-Cab Backhoe design allows the operator to remain in the comfort and protection of the cab, operate all of the backhoe functions including vertical stabilizers, side-shift, boom extension, swing, dipper and bucket, as well as the ability to move the machine as needed.  Without ever leaving the cab, operators will experience more productivity as they are able to increase cycle times in any trenching application.

The EDGE In-Cab Backhoe is easy to assemble and basically consists of installing new cylinder pins, attaching the top and bottom mounts, connecting to the skid steer loader and securing arm hooks.  Steps on the backhoe frame make it easy to get in and out of the cab.  Once seated, the control assembly tips back and all of the controls for the backhoe and the skid loader are conveniently at your fingertips.

Features of the new EDGE In-Cab Backhoe include a powerful digging depth of 9’4” (2850 mm), an extended reach of 10’11” (3340 mm), pivot rotation of 180 degrees and a maximum angle of bucket rotation of 206 degrees. Vertical stabilizers and 40” (1016 mm) side-shift features allow operators to dig next to buildings, fence lines or other obstacles.  Cushioned swing pads at three points offer smooth stop at maximum swing and stick retract.

This new EDGE In-Cab Backhoe fits up to most Gehl and Mustang skid steer loaders and comes standard with auxiliary hydraulics, hoses and flat face couplers.  Buckets are available in 12” (300 mm), 16” (400 mm), 20” (500 mm) and 24” (600 mm) for any size trenching job.
