Grain futures mostly fall, beef prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices mostly fell Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 4.50 cents to $7.5850 a bushel; March corn fell 7.50 cents to $7.2675 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.5975 a bushel; while March soybeans fell 4.75 cents to $14.84 a bushel.

Beef futures rose, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.03 cent to $1.3230 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.53 cent to $1.4940 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.75 cent to 87.60 cents a pound.
