Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 7 cents to $6.3950 a bushel; July corn rose 7.50 cents to $6.20 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.2675 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 9.50 cents to $14.5050 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slipped 0.02 cent to $1.1455 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 0.30 cent at $1.5055 a pound; while June lean hogs fell 0.10 cent to 87.70 cents a pound.
