Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices either rose or were flat Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was flat at $8.4775 a bushel; December corn rose 3.50 cents to $7.49 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.69 a bushel; while January soybeans jumped 11.25 cents to $14.30 a bushel.

Beef futures fell, while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle slipped 0.20 cent to $1.2875 a pound; January feeder fell 0.42 cent to $1.4745 a pound; while December lean hogs added 0.33 cent to 82.80 cents a pound.
