Grains futures mostly rise, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices mostly rose Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was flat at $8.49 a bushel; December corn rose 4.75 cents to $7.52 a bushel; December oats added 0.25 cent to $3.69 a bushel; while January soybeans jumped 18.25 cents to $14.43 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.30 cent to $1.2870 a pound; January feeder fell 0.05 cent to $1.4730 a pound; while December lean hogs fell 0.30 cent to 82.17 cents a pound.
