CASH SOFT WHITE WHEAT

Pacific Northwest: Bids for U.S. 1 Soft White Wheat, delivered by unit trains and barges to Portland during November ended the holiday shortened reporting week on Wednesday, Nov. 21, as not available as most exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery. Week ago bids were not available as most exporters were not issuing bids for November delivery. There were no white club wheat premiums for nearby delivery for this week or last week. One year ago bids for U.S. 1 Soft White Wheat and white club wheat for November delivery were $5.80-5.90, mostly $5.83. Nearby bids for U.S. 1 Soft White wheat for the holiday shortened week were not available as most exporters were not issuing bids for nearby delivery. New confirmed export sales of white wheat this week were to Japan and South Korea. Forward month bids for soft white wheat were as follows: December $8.6525-8.7025, January and February $8.6975-8.90 and March $8.6975-8.95. One year ago, forward month bids for soft white wheat were as follows: December $5.78-5.92, January $5.78-5.94, February $5.90-5.96 and March $5.90-5.98.

Outstanding U.S. white wheat and barley export sales as of Nov. 15, for the marketing year were not available due to the holiday.

COARSE FEEDING GRAINS

Bids for U.S. 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland in single rail cars were $305.75-308.25, $7 to $9 per ton higher than Nov. 16 bids of $298.75-299.25. Bids for U.S. 2 Yellow Corn truck delivered to the inland feeding areas of Yakima, Wash., and Hermiston, Ore., were $295.75-303.50, $7 to $9.25 higher than Nov. 16 bids of $288.75-294.25. Higher Chicago December corn futures for the week supported on cash corn bids. Bids for U.S. 2 Heavy White Oats for November delivery held steady with Nov. 16 noon bids at $265.
