Grade guidelines used in this report have the following relationship to Relative Feed Value (RFV), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), TDN (Total Digestible Nutrients), or Crude Protein (CP) test numbers:

Compared to March 1: Domestic Alfalfa steady in a light test. Export Alfalfa not tested this week as most interests are busy shipping previous supplies. Trade remains slow with light demand. First contracts for Domestic New Crop reported this week. The Japanese yen was in the midst of a 20 percent drop against the U.S. dollar. The yen's slide reduces the country's buying power for foreign products. Retail/Feedstore steady in a light test. Trade slow with good demand, especially from Canadian buyers.
