Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to $2 higher, except $10-20 lower at New Holland, Pa. Slaughter ewes were steady to $4 lower. Feeder lambs were firm. At San Angelo, Texas, 3,776 head sold in a one-day sale.

No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 4,300 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were $4 higher and 10,800 head of formula sales of dressed lambs under 65 lbs. were not well tested; 65-75 lbs. were $1-2 lower; and over 75 lbs. were $4-5 higher. 5,363 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs. and down $8.91 higher; 45-65 lbs. $3.55-3.57 higher; and 65 lbs. and up $.45-1.38 higher.
