USDA to announce farm to school funding Tuesday
The USDA will announce national funding for farm to school programs during a conference call April 17.
Deputy Secretary Kathleen Merrigan will host the call at noon Pacific Time.
The programs will help eligible schools connect with local producers and improve the health and well-being of their students, according to a USDA press release.
