SEATTLE (AP) -- The National Weather Service says the stagnant air that has been held over the state for nearly two weeks by a high pressure temperature inversion should clear out Tuesday night in Western Washington and Wednesday in Eastern Washington.
Forecasters say a series of weather system will move through the state in the next few days bringing a chance of rain showers in Western Washington and rain or light snow showers in Eastern Washington.
