Most producers have finished with haying for the year although some are still baling and picking up their last cutting. Trading was moderate during the week. Demand moderate to good.

Demand remains light to moderate as most Magic Valley dairies and exporters have backed off the hay market for the time being. Retail/feed store/horse steady. Compared to Oct. 19: All classes of hay traded mostly steady to firm in all regions. Again this week the central and northern part of the state seen rain showers slowing movement of hay. In the northern part of the state many producers are sold out for the year. Demand good for all classes of hay with very light trade activity.
