Sheep producer named 2012 cooperator of the year

Lynn Trupp, past president of Oregon Sheep Growers Association, was named USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services 2012 Cooperator of the year during the 2012 OSGA Convention held Dec. 7-9 at Salishan Lodge in Lincoln City.

David Williams, USDA-APHIS-Wildlife state director, presented the award and lauded Trupp for his non-lethal preventive methods to help minimize predation on his sheep and cattle ranch on Sauvie Island, near Portland.
