SEATTLE (AP) -- Forecasters say Tuesday should be the last day in a nearly two-week long stretch of dry, foggy weather in Washington.
The National Weather Service says the strong upper level ridge that has been causing stagnant air should give way Tuesday night and Wednesday to a Pacific frontal system.
Forecasters expect periods of rain or showers in Western Washington and light snow or mixed rain and snow in Eastern Washington into the weekend.
