Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Ore., during December by rail or barge, in dollars per bushel, except oats, corn and barley, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. All other wheat and barley bids are for full December delivery. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.

March wheat futures in midday trading were 17-1/4 to 22-1/4 cents per bushel higher compared to Tuesday’s closes.

Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat for December delivery were not fully established in early trading, but were indicated as steady to firm compared to Tuesday’s noon bids in a limited test.

Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for December delivery were not fully established in early trading but bids were indicated as 22 cents per bushel higher in lining up with the moderately higher Kansas City March wheat futures. Some exporters were

not issuing bids for December delivery.

Bids for 14 percent protein non-guaranteed US 1 Dark Northern Spring for December delivery were also not fully established in early trading but were indicated as 17 cents per bushel higher in following the moderately higher Minneapolis March wheat futures. Some exporters are not bidding for nearby delivery. Some exporters are bidding a premium

for guaranteed 14 percent protein dark northern spring wheat bids.

Bids for US 2 barley for December delivery were not well tested.

Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn trended 25 cents per cwt higher compared to Tuesday’s noon bids due to the higher Chicago December corn futures in early trading.
