Boise Cascade: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

BOISE, Idaho (AP) Boise Cascade L.L.C. (BCC) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $13.8 million.

The Boise, Idaho-based company said it had net income of 35 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 76 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 75 cents per share.

The engineered wood products and plywood company posted revenue of $1.34 billion in the period.

Boise Cascade shares have dropped 19 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 13 percent in the last 12 months.
