Letter: Apology for Hammond photos

I’m writing in regards to a suggestion l made to Editor Joe Beach and a voice mail message to George Plaven on his article and photos, front page of the May 17 Issue. I suggested then that an apology was in order.

I still believe an apology is still in order for using the mug photos of Dwight and Steve Hammond. There are many other photos that could have been used, or none at all. These two ranchers have served many months and have been pardoned. It’s time to correct the use of these two photos with an apology. Please consider my request.
