LEBANON

(Lebanon Auction Yard) Sept. 23-24

Receipts: 792 total; 426 cattle, 272 sheep, 94 goats

Comment: As the fall run is starting, remember we sell all types and quality of cattle; however, value-added calves continue to outsell the generic calves by 20-50 cents a pound. By value-added we mean properly weaned and vaccinated calves with 2 rounds of respiratory protection. The forecast of rain sure helped the market this week. The feeder cattle sold higher by 10-20. The Cow and Bull market was a touch cheaper this week.
