According to the California Department of Water Resources, as of February 5, 2025, the estimated total statewide reservoir storage was 27.10-million-acre-feet, which is 118 percent of the historical average for the month. Farm level milk output is stronger in Arizona. Handlers indicate spot milk availability is on the tight end of the spectrum. Class I demand is strong, while all other Class demands are steady. Milk production in New Mexico is strengthening. However, stakeholders convey spot milk availability in the southwest is tight partly due to some rebalancing. Class I demand is strong. Demands for all other Classes are steady. For the Pacific Northwest, some handlers note less favorable weather for cow comfort recently has contributed to farm level milk output being below expectations lately. Some stakeholders note receiving cream offers at multiples below the bottom end of the week 6 All-Classes range. Demand for cream loads varies from moderate to steady. Condensed skim milk loads are available. Condensed skim milk demand is mixed.
