Beef Quality Assurance training set for Twin Falls

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — The Idaho Beef Council will host a Beef Quality Assurance training session in Twin Falls on April 29.

Speakers include Steve Boyles, 2021 BQA Educator of the Year award winner, and Lyda Garcia — both from Ohio State University — as well as National Cattlemen’s Beef Association BQA program staff Emma Mulvaney and Julia Herman.

Curt Pate, 2020 BQA Educator of the Year award winner, and rancher Dean Fish will also provide an in-person stockmanship and stewardship demonstration with live cattle.

Participants will receive two BQA certificates valid for three years.

Spanish translation will be provided if needed and requested prior to the event.
