The Northwest Ag Show will take place March 13 and 14 at the Oregon State Fair and Expo Center in Salem.

The show had been scheduled for Jan. 17-19, but had to be canceled because of severe weather and dangerous road conditions that prevented exhibitors from moving equipment or traveling to the venue.

Northwest Ag Show: A wide variety of exhibitors will be at Oregon State Fairgrounds

Several show sponsors and key exhibitors urged Capital Press, the show’s producer, to reschedule if dates were available.

“We are excited to have been able to reschedule the 54th edition of the Northwest Ag Show,” show director Joe Beach said. “Many sponsors and exhibitors urged us to find a later date, and we were able to work with the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center to find a few days when we could present a two-day event.

Eighty-five exhibitors have agreed to attend the show, which will be conducted in the Jackman Long building, the main exhibit hall at the fairgrounds.

It will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 13, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 14.

There is no charge for attending the show. The Oregon State Fair and Expo Center charges $5 for parking.

Credits available

The show will offer three core credits from Oregon and Washington state OSHA in morning and afternoon sessions on Wednesday, March 13, in Cascade Hall.

Three classes/three credits are available in sessions that run from 9 a.m. to noon and repeat from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

There is no charge, and participants can register at the door.
